Reportedly after Gelhardt so now if true he has to play as many minutes as poss if only to push the price up. Plus we must demand a massive sell on clause. Chelsea looking at Robinson so same rules apply.

No surprises , he is easily the best player at the club and a super talent.
Had to be in the team to get the highest price but he could also save the season.

So who of our other players are attracting the same attention Robinson apart as Joffey.

I have absolutely nothing against the club blooding players for bigger and better clubs as long as we are paid accordingly. Utd have their sights set on Bellingham and are prepared to spend big to land him. We should be looking to making the greed league feckers do the same. Joffey and Robinson looking like being elsewhere next season so make the big time clubs with millions to spend pay us our just deserts to land our young talent.

Cook quote”His time is coming, that’s for sure”…….Hows about with us you pillock ?…..He never fails to piss me off……his team Saturday showed what a cowardly lion tactician he is. Every man and his pet can see how desperate we are for a modicum of creativity and still he brings him on like Virgil from International Rescue when it’s too late. Isn’t that putting him under undue pressure..expecting wonderkid miracles…something he constantly states he’s avoiding. Garner/Moore..Geldhardt is the way and if we fail then I can live with just not being good enough, and not playing not to lose crap.

He’s like a bottle of expensive wine, good to own at but it will keep its value if don’t use it. The lack of willingness to use the lad more often could be our undoing.

I’m not saying he can single handingly save the day but the lack of match minutes ain’t helping either.

It wasnt that long ago Cook said in a Wigan Today interview it’s better to bring him on into games were winning to build his confidence.

The worm has turned, he should wear the letter “S” on his chest

Well during the window we actually received offers for other players. Nobody came in for Joffy despite loads of rumours and terrace talk.

He’s a great player and probably will go on to be a star but I don’t think we can definitively say he’s our best right now. Most talented…possibly, but he has plenty of flaws in his game due to his age.

I agree he does has alot to learn but on the same token his cheeky lob showed he has more to offer us on the pitch than off. And the shot the keeper saved plus winning the ball back theres more going for him than against.

He’d learn 10 times faster playing 1st team football than any training session. Tbh, how else is he going to learn similar to been match fit ?.

Birmingham have decided that the best way for thier 16 year old Jude Bellingham to improve is to use him as much as possible for a such a young lad.

The way Gelhardt walked away from that little sh1t Pearson when they had a coming together spoke volumes about Gelhardt’s attiude and maturity,he simply walked away, didn’t bite, Garner would have been booked

I held my breath for a few seconds when his first tackle went in. It was more of a lunge with studs showing but despite the ref only being a few yards away he didn’t feel the need to even speak to him.
The boy has tones of potential and that’s all it is until he gets at least 10-15 full games under his belt. I don’t want to kerb everyone’s enthusiasm, but hell need to have more than that shoulder drop and switch qucuickley to his left to be a success. I remember Macmanaman being unplayable doing the opposite onto his right until he got sussed out. Full backs will quickly pick up that they need to get him on his right foot to get the best chance of stopping him.
There’s no doubt the lad has something special and can strike a ball without much back lift.
I’m hoping we are all still excited about him with like I said, 15 full games under his belt.

It would be a travesty if we sold joffy or any of the other young talent we have without giving them a decent run in our first team. I don’t see the point in finding these young lads and not playing them while we are malling about in the bottom three. We always have been and always will be a selling club but while we have these lads let’s give them a chance in the first team and see what they can do, the big clubs must have seen something in them to show interest in the first place so must be worth a punt instead of some of the shite on show at present. Don’t see the point in Having these good young lads and selling them on before we have seen their potential, I would like to see them have a couple of seasons here then if they are that good sell them for big wonga.

                    #184910

Well if he doesn’t play it’s an excuse to keep any bids from premier league clubs low.
He hasn’t played much football and he isn’t proven etc so why on earth dont we play him and let him show off his talents and set a huge price tag?

I can understand what some posters are saying about him, but we have hardened professionals in our squad many years older than him that show much less than Joe but keep getting picked match after match.
Get him playing week in week out and he’ll get the experience he needs, hopefully he’ll help get us a few wins and at the same time raise his own profile and boost his value.
It makes no sense what so ever to leave such a talented individual on the sidelines when we are in such a shit position.

PS Get Garner and Moore on together as well!!!

Garner/Moore together is spot on. Nothing to lose as we haven’t any options. Don’t think Garner one of Cooks Peroni buddies. Played whole xmas bar Swansea with Windass as striker…..Garners not done much wrong but Saturdays substitution of Garner for Moore leaving Lowe epitomised Cooks idiotic ,stubbornness. Cook spends too much energy worrying about the opposition…….let those 2 loose with Geldhardt and let Boro do the worrying. I still believe there is no way on his watch that Cook will start them together…..prove me wrong g
