He’s done it 2 or 3 times so not beyond the realms of possibility.
A front 3 of Joffy, Garner and Moore would be tremendous but I doubt we’ll see that.
Gelhardts a uncut diamond and the way he’s sparringly used means any potential buyers will be gambling he trains on.
Is he good enough ?, you will only know that once he starts to play regular first team football which means we’ll never find out.
From what we’ve seen so far he has talent in abundance so why don’t we just let the lad run riot and save us from the drop.
When I was 17 I could work Sat morning, football after, out till 3-4am work Sunday morning then be at the rugby then up the Riverside and finish off with a Santi and crack a couple off to boot.At 17 you run on adrenalin, listen Cook you cant burn out a young hungry fit 17 year old with the world in the palm of his hand.
Let him loose and let him prove he’s got what it takes and hopefully keep us up.The reason Jude Bellingham is £20-£30 million he’s been given a chance to show his worth. I’m sure Gelhardts just as much talent he just needs a stage to show it
