5 February 2012 at 2:27 pm #80524Most of the Everton fans in there were scousers now living in Wigan. Didn’t know there was a rule for the Brick
Wigan fans only.5 February 2012 at 2:35 pm #80525there are many more liverpool fans and man utd fans with wigan accents, always have been…and will continue to be in mine and your lifetime.

does’nt make it right tho, if everybody followed theyre home town club football would be a much better game.
5 February 2012 at 3:56 pm #80532Well that’s me done for then. I’ll now have to practice. “Ar ay laaaa – Come on you Reds”.

Wigan fans only.We were talking to them out back and they all had Wigan accents ! I wasn’t saying that they shouldn’t have been in there I was puzzled that Wiganers would support Everton !! Man Utd or Liverpool I can understand but Everton ???
5 February 2012 at 5:25 pm #80536Depends who their Dads supported, and also there were times in living memory when Everton were quite successful and were known for playing attractive football (they were known as “The School of Science”).
5 February 2012 at 6:00 pm #80545Wigan didnt have a team in the league till 1978 so most locals tended to support the big 4 Utd,L,pool Citeh and Everton even Bolton for some. Our problem is that those who did are not gonna change allegiences so their offspring followed suit. For that to change I reckon Latics would have to stay in the Prem for probably a generation which sadly I dont see happening. Most of the people I grew up with dont support the Latics coz we were non-league back then and though its annoying theres not a lot we can do about it is there?
5 February 2012 at 6:02 pm #80547At last, someone who can post a bit of sense on here.
5 February 2012 at 9:04 pm #80568At last, someone who can post a bit of sense on here. This coming from a bloke who curtails the longevity of threads with inane fishing related comments !!
5 February 2012 at 9:39 pm #80570I know at least 6-7 Everton fans from Wigan who regularly attend matches at Goodison and a lot of aways as well. They all sound like Wiganers but their families are all scousers. No problem with that at all. Worst ones are the Wiganers who support other clubs who have no justification at all for supporting them apart from chasing glory. Can’t understand it miself.
Anyway, some threads need curtailing.
Double bulk with the hook in the loop method fished dead depth certainly sorts those Crucians out. Although seeing the shy bites has more to do with the double bulk and fishing dead depth than the hook in the loop, obviously ;)
