Can’t speak for Cook but in 40 years watching us I’ve had some really gut churning downers as we know, but for some reason yesterday would climb into my list. Doesn’t help the fact I work with knob end supporters but more it was the complete lack of passion,fight .So NO the players don’t feel it like I/We did and Cook needs to really look at certain set ups that doesn’t work ,particularly Windass playing out of position, full backs who don’t venture past half way and a striker isolated.Losing I can live with but don’t tell me they hurting like us….Bollocks

Doesnt mean he doesnt have a love for us. Martinez is a barca fan but he loves latics.
Jamie Carragher is an evertonian who loves liverpool.
He won’t feel it in the same way but that doesn’t mean he won’t feel it. Some coaches and players have a genuine love for a club other than the one they may neccessarily support.
I quite liked his interview personally, I think he has probably given the hair dryer treatment in the dressing room but rightly has kept it behind closed doors.
