Fourth Round Qualifying this weekend so the draw for the first round proper should be this weekend. What’s everyone’s preference on who we get, league side or non league. Close fixture like Chorley or long haul like Torquay away..

Wouldn’t mind a decent run this year so I’d be happy with a non league club away. Get to somewhere new that we’re not likely to see again..
12 October 2017 at 1:39 am #162499Anyone at home for me, I really like the cup, always have. Someone has a reg plate FA13 cup! Saw it first at a hotel in Belgium when we played there v waregan.
12 October 2017 at 3:00 am #162503providing I’m not at work that day then a local lower league team away will do for me, easy to get to on the train with a few good pubs when we land. Happy Days.
12 October 2017 at 9:54 am #162504AFC Fylde if they are still in it away would be brilliant. New ground just up the road. Can’t see many teams wanting to draw us if I’m honest.
12 October 2017 at 2:46 pm #162505Aldershot away would be my preference as its only about 5 miles from where I’m living these days
Failing that Hampton & Richmond, Eastleigh, Maidenhead, Leatherhead, Sutton United, Slough Town or Woking – I’m not fussy!!
12 October 2017 at 3:09 pm #162508The 1st round draw is on Monday on BBC2 at 7pm
12 October 2017 at 6:53 pm #162509Been plenty of chance to see the FA Cup locally already, Ashton Athletic have had a cracking run only to go out 1-0 v Chorley. Been great to watch.
Unless we get a decent away game, it will be terrible to watch, with nobody there.
12 October 2017 at 11:01 pm #162519Chorley at home would be a good one for the old timers like me if they overcome Boston United.
13 October 2017 at 11:55 am #162527Chorley at home would be a good one for the old timers like me if they overcome Boston United.Surely horc we want Boston our big rivals at one time hated the fookers with a passion. I still want Fylde away personally.
13 October 2017 at 1:01 pm #162528Any club at home please.
13 October 2017 at 2:40 pm #162529Always enjoyed Boston away on the coach, nice stopover for a pint in Newark.
I recall going to Boston on a special train for an FA cup match although time may be playing tricks on my memory.13 October 2017 at 2:59 pm #162530Chorley at home would be a good one for the old timers like me if they overcome Boston United.Get to see your local club in action then ;)

I have only been on Victory Park once for a match not involving Latics. It was an FA Cup match and I nearly got my head kicked in when I cheered when the opposition equalised. I was about 12 at the time so my Dad protected me and after a clip around the earhole from my Dad we moved somewhere else on the ground.
A few weeks after he took me to my one and only Egg match, Orrell V London Scotttish, by eck that was shite, the highlight being the half time entertainment of half a dozen pissed up Jocks kicking a Party 7 can over the sticks.13 October 2017 at 10:48 pm #162534Chorley at home would be a good one for the old timers like me if they overcome Boston United.

Thinking about it, I hate Chorley so I’d rather have Boston at home.
14 October 2017 at 12:40 am #162537Prefer Chorley, Skem, Boston, Stafford, Alty, Macc, Knob End, Noblot, Dingles to the Worriers but we can’t draw the lodgers in the cup.
