As Martinez said on the radio this morning, what is the point of building new training facilities to develop players and then not give them a chance to show what they can do in a game?
If you never play the likes of Fyvie, Golobart, McManaman in competitive matches you’ll never know if they’re good enough to make it into the first team.
Saying that though, I do hope he puts a couple more first teamers in for the next game.
I stand to be corrected .That line up is a mid table championship 11 at best.Might get chance to see them prove it soon .I agree with you about a couple more 1st teamers in next round .A win and a 6th round tie can’t do the players,supporters any harm only add belief.

I don’t think you’ll find that Martinez is demoralised.
Don’t believe all the happy-clapping drivel that the darkside window-lickers like to spout. Plenty criticism of the manager from me when it’s warranted ut it tends to be less hysterical than your mob’s.
For instance, I’d prefer a much stronger team in the 5th round than he is likely to pick and, although I’d be disappointed, it’s his job to pick whatever team he sees fit.
