already panicking on rl chubbie.communist about a potential fixture clash, as our rent boys are playing huddersfield hoover-dams on the same weekend at huddersfield towns football ground!
Seeing as both rugger teams are lodgers in “their” respective stadiums, i can only see one outcome……..BYE BYE CHUBBIES X
I remember we played in all red at the McCalpine Stadium as it was know then. I went on that silly double decker bus only to jump off and run half a mile to the ground due to the traffic. :woohoo:
Just as we ran on to the car park the bleedin bus came trundling past us.
Would love it to be Hudders, but feel they may have blown their chance by failing to make home advantage count. :(
Good draw ………..If your a Huddersfield/Leicester supporter.Fell across the line against Bournemouth and Macclesfield and should Robbie play the fringe boys then I think cup campaigns 2012/13 are over.Has outlined how weak our squad is .1st 11 struggling ,back up boys div 1 standard and that after nearly 4 seasons of building .The saving grace is playing them away from the fortress that is the D.W ,2 wins in 12 and held by Bournemouth and Bradford.I hope our next round opponents play their reserves too .

Three points:
1. If the squad is so thin, why would you expect him not to play fringe players?
2. All of the players in the team on Saturday have played, and played well, at a higher standard than Division One. So how do you deduce they’re ‘div 1 standard’? Does that also apply to Chelsea and Liverpool?
3. If the likes of yourself and those of your ilk attend games at the DW, is it a big surprise that the rapturous support the team receive hasn’t turned it into a fortress?
(Await response that includes ‘deluded’ and/or ‘kissing Martinez’s arse’)
Correct !….You must have a job lot of those funny coloured spetacles to not see how poor the squad is following the 3 or is it 4 year plan.I hope we can pick up a couple of players before Thursday one being a striker and that the stat of losing nearly every Prem game after a fringing exercise dosen’t continue tomorrow.
Although the fringe players didn’t play well indeed the fixtures played in cup competitions this season I believe they have an unbeaten record to press excluding of course the penelty shoot out against the finalists Bradford
30, by constantly referring to Bradford as the finalists you are not appeasing any of the fans that thought we should have buried them at our gaff ! The truth of the matter is many clubs don’t give a flying fcuk about the domestic cups any more. It’s a shame but a reality but good luck to them !

Are you telling me this is a League One standard line-up?
If you expect the 3 or 4 year plan to pick up kids of 14 or 15 and turn them into Premier League players in 3 or 4 years’ time, then yes, you’re right; it isn’t working.
And (thin squad/weak squad) if you expect the squad to consist of mature Premier League players providing like for like replacements and effectively doubling the wage bill, then yet again, you’re right.
If you’ve been sucked in with the Wigan in Europe/mid-table sound-bites and tub thumping, and believe this is what the 3 or 4 year plan is, then yes, once again, it isn’t working.
If the 3 or 4 year plan was to reduce the wage bill, develop youth in order to promote from within, stabilise the club’s finances – negating the need to sell our best players every year, and maintain Premier League status whilst doing so, then yes, it’s going okay.

Really you would of thought that the breakdown of some fans on here that we didn’t smash Macc into the middle of next week was seen as a poor result yet we won ,we must be taking a leaf out of the Newcastle supporters book big club massive loyal fans who deserve the best no matter what the position of the club financially is left in
