Whenever anyone mentions the playing of weakened sides I always think of Ian Holloway’s Blackpool getting a hefty fine for making a few changes against Villa. They only lost the game by the odd goal and the likes of united were fielding weakened teams against the teams at the bottom of the league on a regular basis.
I know that was a league game but rules for one and rules for others at its best.Looking at the liverpool team on show at the moment vs Shrewsbury – they’re all kids.
I think Shrewsbury have pretty much nailed any argument of why we should keep the replays.
I hope they win the replay

Our under 23’s beat a liverpool under 23’s recently. Shrewesbury could only hold them to a draw. We should do ok with our youngstefs in league one next season.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51256760
