McClean player of the month and is the player who can make a difference and break a side down no matter how resistant and stubborn they are. Rested FFS!

Its poppy on shirt time – no real surprise he was “rested”.

Considering we won the FA Cup less than than years ago no excuses the crowd today was appalling. You could hear a pin drop the atmosphere was that bad.Less than three thousand , shocking.

There were quite a few clubs who had low attendances compared to their average. I read somewhere that Charlton’s was 25% of their league crowd.

Do you feel that still being in the cup is a good thing, or would you rather get out of the cups and just concentrate on the league?

And before anyone asks – I’m really not arsed about Sunderland’s exit and the dream of the “quadruple” is over! We’ve been shocking ever since the draw was made for the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup. Hopefully we can somehow get eliminated from the Pizza cup in midweek too.

I think the FA Cup is no longer the great competition it once was.I was fuming with the size of the crowd but as you say there were low attendances everywhere yesterday including Sunderlands. The game yesterday had a feel of a pre season friendly rather than a blood and thunder Cup tie. It was a big day for Solihull but they only brought 300 which tells me they were not particularly bothered about it. I would love a good Cup run but it really does not seem to matter any more the big Premier League teams have ruined it , the fact you can also make five subs means the odds are stacked against lower league clubs making any real progress. So I suppose in answer to your question , even though our greatest ever day was in the FA Cup ,I would rather concentrate on the league.
