Copied from another forum. Good idea but don’t know how many people will be arsed and doubt it will make a blind bit of difference.

For those attending the FA Cup Final, please get involved with this.

The #facupprotest is an idea that’s really easy to implement and will get a message across the globe whilst creating a huge atmosphere. Every fan can get involved no matter how drunk or giddy they are and it doesn’t create a risk of getting kicked out either. We just need fans to start spreading the word.

The idea is really simple; below is a link to an A3 pdf that contains a variety of posters with slogans protesting the FA’s behaviour towards fans. These posters can be printed by anybody with access to a printer. Each poster has instructions to “hold this up when the players come on to the pitch and sing at the top of your voice”.

All we need to do is spread this link to as many fans as who are going to the game as possible, via supporters clubs, email, forums, facebook, twitter (using #facupprotest). These fans then print off the ones that they want to hold up and that’s it. Supporters clubs can print off loads for their coaches, fans can spread them out at the green man, service stations and at the roundabout, they can be handed out on the trains too.
The beauty of this is that it doesn’t risk fans getting kicked out, fans can still act as they normally do, it’s very little effort and it creates an atmosphere. The sight of 80,000 pieces of paper being held up will be great and although the officials might not know what is going on, the TV and Photographers will get everything.

Ever so slightly ironic that they’re expecting fans of billionaire backed Man City and cheapest-season-ticket-in-the-Prem Wigan Athletic to hold a protest about ticket prices. But, hey ho, fill your boots if you’ve not got yourself involved in a good protest for a while.
