Preston at home to start
Rotherham at home last day when we could be needing points still for promotion
Excited already….fair chance of Nob End being switched for TV and/or a 12.30 start I reckon

23 June 2022 at 5:28 pm #196561There are a couple of fixture clashes with the Warriors ,notably Wigan v St Helens on Friday night followed by Latics v Burnley on the Saturday. Will be interesting to see if any fixtures are moved / re arranged. Will not be happy if we have to move any fixtures especially considering the fact the Rugby are doing everything to make sure their fans don’t spend money at the stadium ,it would appear new bars and catering facilities have been installed at the Robin Park Arena ,no doubt approved by the Council.
23 June 2022 at 5:30 pm #196562Pretty decent start to the season for us, Preston and Norwich will hopefully be bold, the others in JAugust I’d expect us to be aiming to do something against if we are to stay in this league.
23 June 2022 at 8:54 pm #196565Won’t be easy to stay in the championship but given how low things were about to get this time 2 years ago it feels like a resurrection.
Great opportunity for the club and we couldn’t have asked for a better opening fixture.24 June 2022 at 7:30 am #196570There are a couple of fixture clashes with the Warriors ,notably Wigan v St Helens on Friday night followed by Latics v Burnley on the Saturday. Why we allowed them to stay is beyond me. We should have stuck the rent up that high they had to fcuk off elsewere. cant stand the gobsh*tes
25 June 2022 at 6:49 pm #196577They would win some brownie points from me if they let Orrell rugby use their old ground again.

Some official worrier on Twitter today thanked the 14,200 and odd for their great support on Friday night.
When you look at the photos posted by someone telling them they need to revise the figure, you can clearly see that there can’t be more than 6K in the stadium.
Why do they lie about their attendances? If they were honest about it and accepted that the support for themselves and for RL in general is poor then we might start to have a little bit more respect for them.26 June 2022 at 7:29 am #196579I know it doesnt suit your agenda, but instead of looking at pre-match pictures to base your agenda, have a look at this video from during the game:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1540455387786248193
At the start of the clip, you can see the West Stand (capacity 6500) quite full (4000). You can see the Boston stand (capacity 9500)is full from ES3-ES7, with no big flags hiding the front 10 rows (so at least 4500). The official picture from WW shows the South Stand (capacity 5400) almost full (about 4,500). Thats 13,000, and they put about 1500 Armed Forces in the North Stand.
26 June 2022 at 11:59 am #196580Great night my arse! Thousands of free tickets handed out to schools etc knowing they would more than likely run up a cricket score past Toulouse and con the kids and parents that don’t normally show any interest in that poxy club that they play like that every week and some may attend again.
Without the freebies there would have been less than 6k on.
Fuck the EFL
26 June 2022 at 1:20 pm #196582I personally don’t give two hoots how many watch that team who rents our stadium. If anyone is going to reference other sports, can you please put them in the Non-Football part of the forums and link back to the topic it refers to please.
Here you go
