10 July 2010 at 1:18 am #39621I think the 188 Bet logo on the home shirt was awful.
You’re right. Let’s choose the next sponsor on the basis of what their logo looks like on a shirt.
10 July 2010 at 1:25 am #39622I can’t complain regarding last seasons shirts.
I bought the home and away shirt to add to my collection and a couple for my niece for the grand total of £30!
10 July 2010 at 12:48 pm #39646They’re all made with slave labour anyway, poorly designed and poor quality material, decent brand or not.
So the people making them and the people mug enough to buy them get ripped off and the shirt makers and the club make a mint.
I’ll get back to cynics corner.
10 July 2010 at 1:59 pm #39650The away kit was great …. the results …… not so greatHow on earth can you judge a kit by the results we get in it? Suppose we’d better blame Vandanel for our poor away form last season then..

Hope its not a tight kit like the old italian kappa kits, as ive put on a right belly from holidays!
14 July 2010 at 10:46 pm #40004Is it significant that the press release says “Wigan Athletic have today announced that technical sports apparel brand Mifit will supply the Replica kit and training apparel for the new Barclays Premier League season. The deal will initially last two seasons, and be Mifit’s first venture into the replica market.”?
It talks about the Replica Kit, training apparel and the replica market. It doesn’t say they will be producing the first team kit.
And no, I can’t think why the two would be separate – but it just struck me as a strange phrasing.

Replica kit is meant as a copy of the 1st team kit.

I know what “replica” means.
I was pointing out it doesn’t actually say they will be making the 1st team kit.

I once bought a T-Shirt from a company called Frank Shorter (he was an american runner) not a household name.
Now, that T-shirt was the best I ever had, no matter how many times you washed it, it came out like new!So lets see what they come up with :)

If it is true and Mi-fit are making our kit i think we should get behind them. Id rather have a different new kit than the last 3 seasons home kits. They are all the same :|
15 July 2010 at 4:40 pm #40068its very very true !
