How on earth can it be a “joke” kit when you haven’t even seen it yet?
It may well be a cracking kit that’s really well made & from decent material. or it may not but you can’t judge it now for gawds sake.
Nike have produced more than their fair share of gash kits over the years.
personally if I do decide to get it I couldn’t give a rats @ss whether it has a Nike swoosh on it or whatever Mi:fi’s logo is – its not as if it should ever be worn as a top fashion accessory anyway. As long as its made to last unlike last season’s pile of gubbins i couldn’t care less who makes it

That was my reasoning for questioning 1932’s rolling eyes on the technical partner thread. Some of our fans are that used to moaning that they now moan and whinge as a default reaction. “It’s bound to be sh!t so I’ll slag it off now, save me doing it later when I will at least have the benefit of knowing what I am slagging off”
Its a case of the club doing things on the cheap again. It’s an amateur brand. Im farly sure it will be Whelan’s brand therefore it will probably be made & designed by the people who did the JJB kits. All of those were poor designs, poor fitting and lasted about a month before fading.
When i buy a replica kit I want it to look & fit well, chances are that an unknown brand is going to.

“Chances are”, you say. But you aren’t giving it a chance are you?
Personally, I’d question the sanity of any grown up who is worrying about the quality of a replica shirt. But that’s just me and if I’m wrong and/or in the minority then I am more than happy to be so.
If indeed the club is doing it on the cheap then fair play to them. if the only downside is we upset some poeple who quite frankly should have grown out of dressing up as a footballer some time ago then that’s fine by me.

Based on the past few Whelan backed firms who have made our kits, no. Why should i?
Also ive not noticed anyone worrying. Can you show me where? Your not trying to glorify the situation to make a point are you? We’d like a decent shirt, that is all.

Your comment crumbled at “replica kit”. They’re not made to fit well, they’re made to fit anyone within the standard sizes. They get worse in quality over the year because you insist on wearing them all the time. If you want a kit to look and fit well, you’d have to get a professional one sized up for you. And then you’d be looking at doubling the price.
Judging from the moaning about a kit that hasn’t even been released yet I can’t see that going down too well either. You get what you pay for.
Lets see it first, then decide, and i have no doubt some people will like it , some wont, and that would be the same if it was made by nike puma adidas umbro etc some people would like it and some wont, just give the thing a chance, lets face it, you dont need to buy it, just buy a retro one off toffs or ebay, the choice is yours ;)
