didnt james mccarthy make his HOME league debut as a seconfd half substitute in the 0-5 home defeat to manure.
and blackburn is again away so it would be 2 away goals wouldnt it,his first against hull was the cup game.
Yesterday was his first league start but yes he did make his debut against United at the DW and again correct in that Blackburn is away.
Oh and Sibierski netted on his home and away debuts.
The thread title is ‘Full’ debut,so the cameo role he had against Utd doesn’t count.
You are right about McCarthy though, he now needs to score at home to be one of the elite home and away debut scorers.i think you will find that a certain mickey quinn netted in each of his first 5 games for the latics so hes has to be in the running
