13 July 2019 at 12:24 am #179571So you think taking a risk on a player who’s had 3 serious knee injuries and more pulls than pornhub is a worthy gamble ?, 30 games ??
Jesus ter fookin night, I think you slipped and hit the 0 key
He played 17 games last season up to Feb then was frozen out for some reason. Watch his interview on the official channel before making rash comments.

What a journey!13 July 2019 at 1:01 pm #179574We have shipped out Gibson and Macdonald who, for different reasons, were not part of our plans. I always thought Macdonald was the most ordinary pro player I have ever seen, anyway.
We have brought in a 25 year old who was part of a very good footballing side last season, and still has a lot to prove. He will give more competition to Morsy and Evans than the other two did.
Apparently Everton have accepted the 2 mil for Robinson too, so if he comes, thats another good young signing. A decent striker to come in now to give Garner some support and competition, and we will be taking good shape.
13 July 2019 at 1:02 pm #179575Its never a good idea to sign a player with serious injury worries. If and when fit the injury could blow up at anytime destroying your game plan. Obviously injuries can and do happen even to the fittest but you risk too much by playing someone who is prone to the same problem time and time again.
13 July 2019 at 5:46 pm #179577Looks like that GOOD striker is going to be Clarke…….pray we have a bit better quality in the pipeline!!
13 July 2019 at 5:58 pm #179578We are far too frugal (tight) when it comes to bringing players in.
I dont believe for one minute the 5m for Gallagher thing was genuine. We were hard pressed to pay that as a Premier League club, never mind a Championship one. Utter bull.
But we seem reliant all the time on freebies and deals that cost us nothing…and that mentality has come back to haunt us in the past. I am not saying we should chuck daft money about, but just something reasonable. If Clarke is our great hope as a striker, I am seriously worried.

Quote from a brentford fan:-
“Macleod was signed injured. He didn’t play all season due to injury although he was on the bench for the playoff semi v Boro in May but never made it on.
Every time he was due to come back, he got injured again. Once he tripped on a twig in training and was out for a long time. Them he fell down a hole in training. Out for a while again.
best period was August and September 2019”.Yep a full 2 months he was raring to go.
Let’s hope Latics dont do any running up Haigh Hall, theres some serious twiggs up there and holes !13 July 2019 at 9:20 pm #179581I’d sooner wait and see rather than moaning before the lads been fitted out for his training gear.
Apparently missed today’s game with Macclesfield due to being knocked over by a cabbage white, as he crossed the car park at the Euxton training ground. Twisted his sock. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!14 July 2019 at 12:04 am #179585You guys crease me up with negativity.
Players get injured. Players have a run of bad luck. Sometimes it’s due to the training regimes at the club.A year or so back I went to Barcelona to watch a game. Messi had been out for months because of an injury and this was his come-back game. According to some of you we wouldn’t have considered him had he been available at a price we could afford because he was “injury prone”. :)
He scored that game and hasn’t really looked back. I know all about Argentina and Barca at Anfield, but he is still a great player.
14 July 2019 at 12:16 am #179586Messi? On a free? He’s too old!
Bloody rubbish Wiggin
Should ave signed Jonny Donkey from Dog & Partridge
14 July 2019 at 1:49 pm #179590Gallagher signs for Rovers as expected…5 mill…..Sign if intent from them especially if they manage to hold onto Dack…..We desperately need a striker or 2…….clock ticking..Hope we have someone lined up other than Clarke.

ffs16 July 2019 at 7:37 pm #179624After refusing to meet Gallaghers 111.5 Mill total package reports hitting up that we look to be close to signing Hugill for 3.6 mill…..great target man. Allegedly hijacked Nob ends negotiations to get him…..1st away game Garner/Hugill…..boy that’ll hurt em !!!
16 July 2019 at 7:38 pm #179625Sorry 11.5 mill…..wages ,transfer fee,and signing fee.
16 July 2019 at 8:08 pm #179626Hughill isn’t prepared to half his wages to play for us so I imagine that’s dead in the water.
