I agree Tea Bag. Pity he’s such a gob-sh7te though – as he’s on about a TV pundit career. Can’t see it myself.

blueneon, all things aside. You never answered a question I asked last week. Is that Phil Collins that’s jumping up and down and shoutng? It sure as hell looks like him.

That clip of him on SSN gerrin giddy when United scored against Liverpool, tickled me today. It took him at least 3 attempts to work out where the badge was on his shirt.

One of the most over rated players ever to play for Man U and England in my mind. The first of the prem prima donas who looked down on fans as though they were a piece shyte on his boots.

                From Matlock to ManU
                What a journey!

Ah come on JR. The man is a snake, but you have to admit he was a very consistent right back.

I may have mentioned this once before. My cousin did a bespoke kitchen for him and one of the lads working on the job tried to make small talk with him to which Neville replied ” I am paying you to work not talk ” What a toss pot !!

I asked him about a year where he got the jumping avatar thingy from because I want to nick it, I think it’s great. He didn’t answer me either

Better than Fil’s golliwog avatar – racist get  *

                  * I have declared it “Have-a-go-at-Fil” day today in honour of the fact that I am in our Preston office today :P

Are you having a laugh????? Its all personal opinions but if there’s been a better right back of any nationality who has played in England over the last 15 years or so then I haven’t seen em.
As good defending as he was going forward which seems to be a rarity for full backs these days
As for being the first of the prem prima donnas who looked down on fans as though they were a piece of poo on his shoe – that isn’t a case of personal opinion that I’m afraid is absolute rubbish
He was first & foremost a Man United fan & its a rarity that supporters could see someone playing for their club who was as passionate about the club as them. Just ask a die hard United fan (the ones who actually go to games) whether they think Gary Neville looks down on em & they’ll set you straight. Its probably his passion for United above all else which yanked off non-united fans about him

As for what he was like away from the game I have no idea (although I did once literally bump into him in St Anne’s Square in Manchester & he had a face on him like a bulldog licking pish off a thistle) but he’d hardly be the first person to tell a workman they were paying them to work not talk – even more so when you consider how quickly owt he’d have said would have been splashed round the internet as soon as the workie got hom
