Took a long time but get in! Michael Jacobs. Now let us hope Blackburn and/or Shrewesbury slip up on Saturday before we make history on Sunday.
15 March 2018 at 1:55 am #167389That was a 4 4 2 win Donny :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
It should steady our nerves a bit, and hopefully we can press on with two more away wins before Good Friday.
15 March 2018 at 2:04 am #167391Phew, what a great result now I can look forward to Sunday. Was always worrying about this game and thought the lads focus was gonna be on Sunday so I have not been arsed about it to be honest. Now I can start dreaming and finally get excited about the game. Well done tonight lads now lets go for it Sunday C,Mon you tics.
15 March 2018 at 2:39 am #167392Superb result. In work listening to game on talksport 2 with all these Rovers fans. Goal wiped all the smiles off their smug faces.Didnt sound pretty but who gives f***….Will make this shift tolerable now…well done lads.
15 March 2018 at 11:18 am #167395Phew indeed! Constantly checking my phone last night either on bbc sports page, or waiting for a facebook ping. Then halfway into benidorm, a facebook ping reading “get in.” I then checked bbc to find Jacobs 90 + 1. Fantastic win! As i’m afraid to say, a draw or loss last night would have given massive impetus to both shrewsbury & blackburn methinks.
15 March 2018 at 11:24 am #167396Performances of late haven’t been good and results worse, I’ve felt crap as soon as we dropped out of the top two and even with our games in hand I thought oh shit, but last night what a result and hats off to the boys and everyone involved and the fans who travelled I bet they went mental when the ball hit the net “Up the Tics”.
15 March 2018 at 11:34 am #167397If anyone has seen the highlights of last nights game, check out dan burn’s celebration with the fans. Not the most flamboyant of celebrations, but definitely up there as being one of the most passionate.
15 March 2018 at 12:09 pm #167401Eases some of the pressure off ourselves as well. A run of games without a win and the games in hand start to look tougher than they are.
15 March 2018 at 2:17 pm #167404Watched the game in Feuteurventura. The pitch looked awful and the wind was strong, however we still tried to play football. I don’t think Bradford got out their own half more than 2 or 3 times in the second half. Fantastic win, I can now enjoy the rest of my hols, no pressure for us on Sunday, but will take a victory before flying back home on Monday.

What a journey!15 March 2018 at 2:31 pm #167407‘Feuteurventura’ ? Not heard of that, where is it? Is it similar to Fuerteventura ? On a serious note, how’s the weather in The Canaries as I’m going to Lanzarote in just over 4 weeks? I know it’s a month off but I’ve been told that the weather out that way ain’t been as good as usual for this time of year so I’m panicking!

15 March 2018 at 4:49 pm #167415We came out Monday and it’s been hot with the usual wind. As I’m typing this, it is very cloudy with a fine drizzle, looks like it’s in for the day. Still in mi shorts and no top showing all the world the bronzed Adonis that is JR. Tee hee

What a journey!15 March 2018 at 8:49 pm #167419Great win, great lay off from Grigg, cool finish from Jacobs. Other than that the game was full of poor quality footy. We looked nervous at times and thought we were coming away with just a point as nobody looked like scoring.
Bradford are a really poor team but a win is a win. Let’s hope we kick on from here?16 March 2018 at 12:09 am #167423We looked nervous at times and thought we were coming away with just a point as nobody looked like scoring. But there’s nothing like a win to boost confidence, particularly against the odds.
Look at the Shrewsbury and Blackburn message boards – they are devastated.
We were nervous because of our current string of results, but last night can set us back on course.16 March 2018 at 2:07 am #167425’Feuteurventura’ ? Not heard of that, where is it?
