’Feuteurventura’ ? Not heard of that, where is it? Is it similar to Fuerteventura ? On a serious note, how’s the weather in The Canaries as I’m going to Lanzarote in just over 4 weeks? I know it’s a month off but I’ve been told that the weather out that way ain’t been as good as usual for this time of year so I’m panicking!

I’m going to Playa Blanca! On a Sabbath note, going to watch ‘Black Zeppelin'( Wigan based band ) on Saturday in Preston, great Led Zepp/Sabbath covers band. First half they do Led Zepp stuff then second half is old Sabbath stuff up to Vol4 ! Have you come across them before? I saw them at The Talbot in Burnley and was impressed enough to arrange to see them this Saturday as well!

It was in Puerto del Carmen owned by a great tics mon and ex Rainbow Cottage member Graham Hill. Both Graham and his lovely wife Caz passed away tragically quite a few years ago. His bar was a shrine to Latics, but got ransacked after their passing. I managed to save Micky Worswick’s shirt that he wore at Wembley in the old FA vase final v Scarborough, it is now on display at the DW in memory of Graham. Not aware of another Latics bar in Lanzer.

We looked nervous at times and thought we were coming away with just a point as nobody looked like scoring.
