Blimin eck, that second half display was fairly dire. :woohoo:
Didn’t see that equaliser coming but will take it thank-you very much. If we can pick up points playing like that, the season bodes well. :cheer:

What a journey!9 August 2014 at 11:26 pm #132703Very dire defensively today & for carsons 2 saves we would have lost. Not sure where barnett was today, but i would have started with ramis & barnett & kiernan had it have been a back 3 from the start.
Wasnt too keen on taylor or huws & not too keen on the overall play, but it is early days. Cant really judge after the one game.9 August 2014 at 11:48 pm #132706Boyce is not a centre half and it showed today on the plus side we will get better
10 August 2014 at 12:00 am #132708Yes the 2nd half was dreadful.
A point is a point though…
Will our followers ever ever learn not to leave before close of play?
10 August 2014 at 2:45 am #132710Thank god for Carson that save in the second half was save of the season , Mr dependable McCarthur is lost in our team and deserves Premiership football , our performance was garbage and god knows whats going on , we`ve gone backwards i can`t remember us having a single shot for 85 minutes Riera didn`t see enough of , Taylor left wide open with no cover , Huws send him back left us wide open but did have the odd glimpse , Cowie average but looked better than the others its going to be a long season and not impressed . :(

You’re living up to your name for sure. Yes, today wasn’t great, but we didn’t loose (somehow).
We will play far better and loose. That’s football for you.
If you want to recall a disaster on the opening day, think back 4 years and 0-4 to Blackpool. Now that was bad
10 August 2014 at 3:22 am #132712from our angle it looked an own goal and going wide thanks for saying otherwise that was a sh*t performance and i think a lot of fans are not going to be smiling this season .I didn`t see anything that encouraged me atall apart from that save from Carson first class .
10 August 2014 at 1:23 pm #132713Being able to salvage a point when you haven’t played well is something that teams who get promoted do. All teams play badly some time. We did it for 45 minutes.
10 August 2014 at 4:02 pm #132715Yeah it was awful 2nd half but the first half we had a lot more of the ball. People forget that Reading are one of the better sides in this league. Left back was knackered and Boyce was knackered. I do think Ramis and Barnett would have been our best starting centre halfs. I was suprised when we signed Waghorn as I don’t see how he improves us. Maloney if fully fit should have started. Can’t understand why Mcmanaman didn’t have more of the ball 2nd half, maybe good management from Adkins. We will improve once the plates get used to rack other. A lot of new faces yesterday.
10 August 2014 at 5:59 pm #132717How loose would you like us to play leyland.

As loose as we like so long as we don’t lose….
11 August 2014 at 10:30 am #132729Roslers choice of defenders beggars belief,
Why no Tavernier after all the glowing pre-season reports ?
Nothing up front,
Huw, (Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub) 2 year deal with City ?
Thank god for Carson and the post
And the post stopping Riera from opening his account
Fitness over tactics ?
Rosler the new Coyle ?Saturday can only be compared to making pan er lobbies,
Throw it all in in any order you like with lots of new ingredients you’ve never tried before,
Don’t bring it to the boil just let it simmer for 90 mins,
and in the end hope it doesn’t come like like dish water11 August 2014 at 6:11 pm #132735Do you remember James McCarthys debut for the tics?
If you do then I presume you also wrote him off as a lump of lard.

Grow up lad we are trying to have a sensible conversation here. I was referring to your knee jerk post to Saturdays poor performance. You questioned the fact that Man City have given Huws a 2 year deal after presumably seeing him play 90 mins with team mates he’d met just a couple of days earlier.
I certainly saw enough in the lad to give me a warm feeling that he will do well at Wigan. I’ll put your over the top comments down to the fact you just wanted to get your silly Trumton pun in.
