I thought huw did ok but tired like most of our players did on the hour mark
12 August 2014 at 7:59 pm #132741Do you remember James McCarthys debut for the tics?
If you do then I presume you also wrote him off as a lump of lard.
what you on about ?? you on your phone with the Monday club in’th Moon ??
Grow up lad we are trying to have a sensible conversation here. I was referring to your knee jerk post to Saturdays poor performance. You questioned the fact that Man City have given Huws a 2 year deal after presumably seeing him play 90 mins with team mates he’d met just a couple of days earlier.
I certainly saw enough in the lad to give me a warm feeling that he will do well at Wigan. I’ll put your over the top comments down to the fact you just wanted to get your silly Trumton pun in.
Watching footballers and getting “warm feelings” I’d be careful there bud and put a thumb on it. If it weren’t for the post twice and Carson I doubt you would be calling it a knee jerk reaction. Rosler talks about fitness and players not ready so why pull friendly game in Germany ?.
That second half gave me no encouragement what so ever, that’s as poor as I’ve seen for a good while. By the time we “get players fit” and players back from injury we’ll be playing catch up. We have had all summer to bring in and get fit , we should be out the traps setting the pace, fit and ready.
If it wasn’t for McArthur on Saturday we would have looked like relegation fodder. I still have a feeling if Forshaw does decide to come to Wigan Mcarthur will end up in the Prem, 1 in 1 out , like for like no improvement to the squad.
I certainly didn’t get a “warm feeling” over Huws that’s for sure even though he’s not a bad looking chick , and were’s Trumton ??12 August 2014 at 9:09 pm #132742As i said in my original post it would be harsh to judge after one game, especially the very first game of the season. In fairness, i wasn’t that impressed by the 2nd half, but so many teams struggle at the beginning of the season before they start to find their feet.
if after about 10 games we are still playing the same way, playing poor & are behind the other teams, whilst it may not be a panic situation, but by all means be a little concerned.
that goes to all of you BTW.

B)No dummy out there matey/sunshine whatever you wanna call me, as in the words of good old Roy Walker “Say what you see” and what I saw was a bag of runny diyo.
Then there was McArthur shrugging his shoulders at Rosler when Waghorn was subbed as if to say, “what we doing now ?” and Fortune looking like he’d lost a winning lottery ticket just after scoring a cracker Tuesday.
I think there’s something not right in the camp, time will tell13 August 2014 at 7:20 pm #13277113 August 2014 at 8:56 pm #132773Why is it that whenever we have a couple of consecutive bad results/performances someone reckons the dressing room is lost?
