21 June 2013 at 5:03 pm #116706He’s gone. Out of contract, along with Golobart, Figgy and Uncle Joe
That’s a pity. He was mint.
21 June 2013 at 5:06 pm #116707Nah, I thought he sucked..
21 June 2013 at 7:05 pm #116708it’s pity that when one expresses their opinions that they are sarcastically described as an expert, with a comment added about working in football.
a rather futile comment, rather than joining in on the debate about what the future holds for our football club.
21 June 2013 at 8:22 pm #116709He’s gone. Out of contract, along with Golobart, Figgy and Uncle JoeIt’s also a pity when people state facts and get them wrong. Latics65 said he hasn’t gone yet and that is correct. 30th June is his contract expiry date and he hasn’t signed for anyone else. So he hasn’t gone.
21 June 2013 at 8:36 pm #116710Semantics I’m afraid. I think you’ll find he won’t be returning. He hasn’t gone, but he has really.
Shall we move on ?

Already have. You’re the one who keeps going on about it.
21 June 2013 at 8:58 pm #116718Good stuff. I wonder what Coyle thinks about Adrian Lopez. Roberto liked him, but I couldn’t understand that. We can’t be sure about Ramis’ recovery, but he would be superb at that level. Another strong centre half alongside him would do. Owen had Strven Caldwell as his Captain at Burnley, so we know the type of centre back he prefers.

From what I remember he played well for them too.
Incidentally, I’d have like to have seen Lopez play in the Championship. I liked what I saw of him.
21 June 2013 at 9:55 pm #116720I know it looks like Alcaraz is on his way but you never know what Coyle has up his sleeve. The scavengers will be out come June 30th, but if he is offered terms he can’t refuse to stay another season, which if I was Whelan I would, then he could sign another contract.
It’s all ifs, buts and maybes at the moment, when the big deals are completed everything will suddenly start to happen as it does every transfer window.
No doubt we will be trying to force Dean Windass out of retirement at 23:59 on transfer deadline day. :huh:From Matlock to ManU

You’re new to this malarky aren’t you !

Jonny, if your spelling of Caldwell was a genuine typo and not a sarcastic play on words then it should have been ! Cladwell is perfect because as is with most words in our language they morph over time into other words and so Clodwell is only just around the corner ! In fact, lets skip Cladwell and just go straight to Clodwell ! :cheer:

It was a typo but I like it, and from this day forth, he and his brother shall be known as Clodwell. It has a Wigan tone to it.
