What’s happened to their transfer policy of young players, bad news for Morsey who wants to stay.

Morsy hasn’t played this season, so i’ll ask the same question that i did when MacDonald signed…..Who is going to make way for this mon!

        Fuck the EFL

Thankyou Dave Sharp, Gary Caldwell and anyone else who made this happen. Nice guy and a good penalty taker, but simply not good enough for premier league football.

Getting Gomez, Liam Bridcutt & Will Buckley permanently off our wage bill is great business. None of them had a hope in hell of 1st team football at Sunderland.

He was good enough this day!

My only concern is where he fits in as i presumed when we signed powell, that was the end of interest in gomez. Dont get me wrong i’m glad he is back as im a fan of his, but with powell, jacobs & colclough, i just cant see where he will fit in.

But FAO gary; please sign another striker

I think the question is – Where are Powell, Jacobs & Colclough going to fit in. I know where Jordi will be! The starting 11.

He could look to play powell further up top, with grigg, then gomez attacking midfielder to support them. Drop perkins. We would then have power as defensive midfielder and Jordi as attacking midfielder, where as at the moment, perkins and power play too similar a game.

Perkins would be in my starting eleven every week for his work rate alone, if we want a luxury in the team like Gomez we could have saved a few quid and played Davis as number 10.

I think Gibley is the new workhorse going forward..

I was saying last night that we needed a Gomez type player on the pitch, somebody that can invite challenges and win free kicks around the box.

Far too intelligent a player for Sunderland to appreciate.

                      Welcome back Jordi,

Would have to agree Egg. For me Colclough just doesn’t seem to have a presence on the pitch..
