Did Gomez deserve a place on the bench last week?
Hardly any pre season, nowhere near match fit, yet gets a place on the bench along side lads who have prepared since June, some players who also have a full pre season behind them didnt even make the bench.More chopping and changing tomorrow to make way for JG in my opinion.

How good he is now after a hand full of Greed League games in two years who knows.
He was shit playing for us in the Greed League but looked good in The Championship but after two years on the fringe of one of the worst sides in the Greed League what will he be like now?
I know Chris McCann was one of our best players last season but deemed not good enough for this season by Caldwell so let’s wait and see.To consistently be the worst player in the 17th best side in the Greed League means that you simply are not cut out to be a top-flight player.
Which is why he now isn’t, nor will he ever be again. Frankly, I suspect that even bottom half 2nd division is a bit too much for him these days.

But I thought this was a football thread about Jordi Gomez and suddenly – yet again – it’s become diverted to a thread about whether the Warriors have a game this weekend.

Today any squad player could start on the bench in case we needed something late in the game. That’s what subs are for.
