Absolutely…….can’t put a price on the connection he has at the club. Maybe the younger ones won’t feel it but the season of 34 goals still stands as a major highlight for me. A hat trick on Saturday, one on Tuesday and nearly a 3rd on Saturday still warms the cockles. He’s gained valuable coaching experience at the highest level……..f@@@ the journey men managers!!…What’s there not to like ??? As the song goes ” come and join us “
Men who want likes of Adkins obvs don’t understand what this clubs about. As a player he epitomises everything good about this club. Would run through a brick wall as a player, a club legend and in all this shite would be a real ray of light.
Haha. Just thought that pal but I adore Jonesy as I can tell you do. Only one man can lift this club and he’s our boy.
Both of them would suit me, they would have to suit the new owners though!!! Won’t get an appointment until new owners in place
He’s stated his desire to come back here on numerous occasions……surely one of our new owners/administrators easier decisions…..then again nothing seems to go to plan at the moment!!!

I understand all of the reasons mentioned above why folk would want Jones. But he was sacked by Luton. I have this gut feeling he isnt quite ready just yet. Adkins on the other hand would be my preferred option. But as has already been mentioned, let’s get a new owner first & see where that takes us.
Think his experience with us previously, Everton,West Brom, Belgium…….not a bad apprenticeship. As for Luton, think that was mainly a cost reduction exercise. Adkins would be on my shortlist but Jones connection with us swings it for me. Would also imagine his contract would cost less too.
It would be a big test of his loyalty if Graham Jones was to come to us in the current situation. But if he does I think we’ll all be right behind him. I think he’d look after the youth set up too if it survives.
As for your comment Mr Brownbill about his past experience with the above clubs, I agree he has probably amassed a wealth of experience, but I’m just dubious about his managerial expertise. Of course, if he were to come he would receive my full support. But I do believe we need to get a new owner first before contemplating who the next manager is. That is our main priority.
