Well, what can I say?

There was a time a week or two ago that I thought that was it and our great club was going to the wall.

It has been an exhausting summer so far, I seem to have done nothing but read Twitter, Newsnow articles, WEP and of course all the message boards, it really has been a dramatic 12 months to be honest.

Fortunately, thanks to a lot of people we can now see a light at the end of the tunnel with the Mike Danson takeover. It may mean a lot of changes to what we have been used to, but we still have a Club and of course another year of the Guess the Gate competition (hurrah I hear you all shout).

I have given the situation a great deal of thought, and have decided to stick to the original format, I hope everyone is okay with that.
I may add some bonus matches along the way as I have over the years.

Please spread the word that the competition is still up and running as we need as many as possible on board to make it a success.
