It’s alright for you Moonay, you’ve not been taunted by the git all through your formative years and beyond. What a twat!! Howser indeed.
22 November 2014 at 12:22 am #135990Lucky gits I had the misfortune to be born in Deepdale infirmary Preston!!!
It explains a lot about my imbalances!!!You twat, for 52 years you have told me you’re a ‘proper’ Latics fan because you were born in Wigan General and I wasn’t because I was born Chorley Hospital.
Just wait til I see you tomorrow. You were born further away from Springy than me you Nob Ender.
So both of you abandoned your local team? ;)
No one can help were their parents decide to settle, (Eccleston)
Grand parents were Wiganers though so I see myself as a Wiganer, a bit like those Irish lads Andy Townsend, Iain Dowie, Tony Cascarino etc I suppose, or even our own Dave Whelan to an extent.I did go to watch Chorley on one occasion other than against the Latics, and stood with the Wimbledon fans during an FA Cup tie.
I’ve never liked Chorley FC, but the area isn’t the worst place on earth to live.22 November 2014 at 12:30 am #135991Lucky gits I had the misfortune to be born in Deepdale infirmary Preston!!!

Any reason you dislike them? Stick for being a Wigan fan instead?
22 November 2014 at 12:42 am #135996You ought to go and watch Chorley some time.
Time travelling football – really enjoyable.

Mainly because back then they were our main rivals, more so than Bolton or Preston have ever been. You youngsters really don’t know what real rivalry is.
