If I’m counting correctly (and I might not be) – Wigan only has 5 who qualify: Pollitt, Boyce, Caldwell, Jones, Watson.

Pollitt, Boyce, and even Caldwell are fairly old, and Jones and Watson aren’t exactly fixtures in the starting 11 or on the substitute bench.

While we’re probably OK this year, are we facing a potential problem with our depth in the next few years, as we may not be able to name a full 25/have to rely too heavily on under 21’s?

Am I missing anyone (will McCarthy qualify as Home Grown)?

Isn’t it that they need to have had 3 years training in the UK under the age of 21?

We should be fine on that front. Di Santo has been over here a while now and surely Maloney, McArthur and McCarthy qualify maybe even Figueroa. Then we have 5 or 6 young lads in our squad that would qulaify so we’re fine.
