It is interesting that Duke knows what a paedophoile is but doesn’t know what the word pedantic means.
Let me enlighten you, young Duke – and Filmoss, because you don’t get it either.
If you were to say Jason Scotland is the worst player to sign for Latics since Agahowa in May 2007, for example, and I replied that actually he signed in April 2007, I would be being pedantic.
If I choose to simply disagree with absolutely everything you post I could be variously accused of being petty, small-minded, vindictive, mean, argumentative, childish, annoying, bullying even. All of these things and more, probably. But not pedantic.
Can’t disagree with that I’m afraid, most of the oldies in the West Stand need hearing aids just to hear themselves think.Oh stop, it’s just toooo funny.
Luckily, I sit next to a guy who sells hearing aids for a living.

What is your problem, I don’t think they are embarassing and in all honesty it seems to me that your are envious of them. They are the only people who sing and we would be silent otherwise ( I say they, I sit there myself), now that WOULD be embarassing.
In regards to the post, Technically I would say our ‘support’ is great, but the lack of it is the problem.

And yes, I do know what pedantic means, and have done for a while. It’s the one word I’d use to describe you.

Where’s the evidence that I don’t know what pedantic means?
The truth is, there are too many miserable buggers on here that can’t take a joke and criticize everything that is posted. There are also too many people that see this forum as a way of saying “Look at me! I’m Wigan’s biggest fan, I’ve watched them since they were formed, so my opinion is more valid than yours.

My own sentiments Duke ! The purists of the board dont condone any humour unless it is in the Joke Section ! They dont like conflict, if anyone should disagree with them they belittle them and deride them in a futile attempt to make them look silly. To the silent majority it must look like public school boys talking to their ” Fags ” !

Maybe you should look up the word joke and more seriously this shouldn’t even be discussed on here ,Many posters on here have kids as do i and that word is just not needed on a forum
