4 February 2012 at 3:49 am #80347Can’t be arsed going through each fixture, but whatever we get it won’t be enough.

Not wishing to state the obvious but… to get to 38 points (the accepted bare minimum needed for survival) we need another 23 points. So, out of the next 15 games, we need 7 wins and 2 draws or 8 wins.
My heart hopes we can go on the type of run of near biblical proportions that would yield that points return but my head won’t be allowing me anywhere near a bookies to back if up with hard cash.
Only other scenario is that 3 other teams perform worse than us for the rest if the season and though we gave got away with that for the last few years, I don’t see it happening this time.
Hey-ho!
4 February 2012 at 12:02 pm #80354It will be a sad day when we do eventually go down this season, I just hope we don’t end up dropping like a brick.

4 February 2012 at 10:41 pm #803627 if that from remaining games
5 February 2012 at 5:28 am #80500can’t see us getting another two wins this season if I’m honest…..unless you can win nil-nil?!
5 February 2012 at 3:44 pm #80530can’t see us getting another two wins this season if I’m honest…..unless you can win nil-nil?!So your predicting a couple of clean sheets, thaat’s positive, nice if they came against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United for some bonus points. Beat Liverpool, Wolves, West Brom, Swansea, Newcastle and first of all Bolton.
Any other points would be a bonus.
Can see 34/5 surviving this season12 February 2012 at 3:38 pm #811703 wins and two draws (or better) in the next 6 games would set us up for a great finish, 29+ points going into the last seven games – superb the euphoria a win gives you innit.
Mad how 500+ have seen thics vote but only 33 have bothered to click a total?
