I’m very concerned about our goal difference vs QPR, espcecially with the seemingly easy run in that Bolton and Blackburn have.
We HAVE to win at Blackburn, & then it’s still tricky. But, we’re playing well, so I’m hopeful!
15 April 2012 at 2:57 am #85228I have us two points ahead of Blackburn and three ahead of QPR going into the final game, they have Chelsea and Man City away respectively, we have Wolves at home.Jay…..just like Man Utd thought – well you know the rest.
Chelsea and Man City might be ‘on the beach’ on the last day of the season (remember Man Utd and Fecking Cheatin Gets Ham).
Our good form needs to be nutured right to the very end…..no slip ups….no excuses.

Qpr 31
Wigan 31

Bolton 29
Blackburn 28
Wolves 23My prediction:
Wigan 39
Bolton 38
———-
QPR 32
Blackburn 32
Wolves 24I think if we get a win at Fulham next week then we’re practically safe anyway, but I can see us getting a draw from Newcastle and Blackburn (which hopefully won’t matter) and then beating Wolves.
17 April 2012 at 9:24 pm #85351You’re being optimistic by predicting that we will only win our next game and last game out of the coming 13, I would hate to see your pessimistic version although I assume it would be a zero points tally from here on in.
Swansea 3
Norwich 0 (really?)
WBA 1 (really?)
Liverpool 0
Stoke 1 (really?)
Chelsea 0
Man utd 0
Arsenal 0
Fulham 1
Newcastle 1 (really?)
Blackburn 1 (really?)
Wolves 3Our home games are the key, Swansea, West Brom, Stoke, Newcastle and Wolves are the ones that could potentially save us. Though I do think we will get bonus points from the Pool, Man U, Chelsea and Arse games.
I think we could grab something from Norwich, Fulham and not even be worried about the Wolves games.Impressed by your optimism mate send me some over will you.
I expect to beat Swansea as i think they are going to hit the skids a bit now and thewy look a bit soft on their travels.
Norwich though have been awesome at home,West Brom are bang in form and we havent beaten the non footballers of Sjoke city yet in the PL at home have we?
Newcastle are top six and look very strong this year and we have never won at Ewood park either-jinx ground.
I hope your right because i would hate to see us relegated but the table doent lie and our form has been dreadful this season.
Another encampment in the away teams half and again 2 points dropped.Feeble defending against a team that looked to have one eye on the beach and the prediction i made looks optimistic now.
That said a fine performance today and plenty of effort but no killerpunch…..AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i predicted 5 points and we have come in with 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
incredible and typical bloody latics again.
Looking good for 40 although i reckon 36 is enough given the horrendous run ins QPR and Blackburn have.
Lets wrap it up at Dulham sorry Fulham on saturday!
About time we nailed the jinx at craven cottage!17 April 2012 at 10:58 pm #8537242

By the suffering we are actually a point better off after that today.
Feels like coming out of a very dark tunnel-a win next week and could the impossible happen?
Bloody Latics eh?
17 points from 10 games is unbelievable and i can see another 6 because i think we will win at Ewood park a week monday and i fear for Wolves after that with the form the team are in now.
10 points better off than i thought a few weeks back and an almighty large egg plastered all over my face.
:cheer:29 April 2012 at 7:21 pm #86171Boy did I get that wrong, well done to Roberto and the boys. The future is bright.
8 May 2012 at 2:36 pm #86742Looks like over 90% of us were wrong?
I did go for 38 points, so they have mullered that and could get past the 42, how wise was that guy….?FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
