We played the mighty Blackburn today and our clown of a manager played 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders and we still concede 2.
Here’s a thought play an attacking team and go to actually try and win the game is that not the idea??? it used to be.

as i have said in another post – 55 games into his tenure and it is no different to the first -in fact its worse we actually atacked villa in that first game – how many more games before this pratt realises his negative tactics dont work – we dominated a game against a team who saved their worse performance of the season for us and we had 3 shots on goal and still lost.
to all those who keep saying we will stay up can you explain to those like myself who are sick of this man and his rubbish – HOW ?

How much longer can a provincial town with 55 million of debts and losses, and barely 10000 home fans continue to sustain a place in the English Premier League. Especially when a fair chunk of the spoilt brats who claim to support the team amongst that 10000 are spitting their dummy out at the manager for not beating a team who we’ve never beaten at their ground,except for a lancashire cup tie in the mid eighties ( & even that was on penalties IIRC ) Even when they would have beaten that team were it not for some shocking refereeing & linesmen’s decisions. Grow up and give yourselves a shake you big mary ellens, and get behind the team,the way some of you behave its like you want us to get relegated :roll:Well said Scholes, of course things are going wrong and its not good, but am sure its just a Wigan thing that some people, whether its Latics, eggmen, council, weather are at their happiest when there’s something to moan about and if they can’t complain about anything, then they complain about having nothing to complain about!

2. Yes we have been punching above our weight for the past six years, having narrowly escaped relegation under two managers, and aiming for a mid-to-bottom finish at best for the rest of the time. You point is what exactly?
3. How have the Carling Cup games kept him in charge? We lost to Notts County last season.
4. The players had lost a game they know they should have won. Why should they applaud the away fans for making the huge trek from Wigan to Blackburn, especially when that contingent includes people like yourself? Should they and the manager come to away end so you can boo them?
I’ve given up on justifying my support for the team and manager, as there are clearly two camps that will never agree and it is plain to see that all is not going to plan, or the team would be clear of the relegation zone. What I do rise to however, is someone like yourself spouting tripe in the form of text speak, whilst somehow holding the role of site admin. Very poor.
