quite enjoyed the day out, grub and ale in the pub across from the fair before which was pretty good. Nice to see so many latics fans in there and got no hassle from the few hull fans that dared to come in haha.

And the game…in the papers we had 76% possession which for me shows that we controlled the game for large periods. The fact we only mustered one goal from all that possession shows a lack of a cutting edge which we had plenty of against chelski. Poor defending for both goals, noone on the post for the corner and a free shot for geovanni.

I know its crap losing to a s**t team like hull, and lets be fair they are rubbish in terms of quality. They out fought us maybe. But the signs are better than when we got beat by wolves, we look better in possession and more comfortable on the ball, just lack quality in the final third.

One last thing tho was it me or was kevin kilbane playing centre half?? id fancy my chances with that mon. Certain cruise liners turn faster.
