No bitterness from me towards Martinez, maybe it was best for all concerned, we can move on from him leaving a build again and from his point of view, he can’t keep rejecting these offers from bigger clubs…keep turning clubs down, they’ll stop asking, question his bottle and willingness to move his career onwards.
I feel Martinez should have done the decent thing and stayed 1 more year, tried to keep the best part of the team together and had a good old pop at Europe and gained experience in that department cause he won’t feckin get it at Everton :lol:
It’s not like there’ll be no prem jobs the season after next, Jesus 10 managers aint there from the start of last season.
the need for new facilities is not as much to bring us up to scratch with the premiership as there are other clubs around the north west with much better facilities for the youth as well as the first team , this counts a lot when young players are looking for were they would like to learn there trade . it also puts the club in a higher grade level so that fixtures for the youth will be against higher standard opposition.
i too feel whelan is the reason bobby has left for not fulfilling this,shortsighted.com
