then its time to send the youth or reserves to the top 5 or 6 clubs and rest the best players for cup or games against relegation rivals. We play to finish 4th bottom so come on lets treat this crappy overated league with the contempt it deserves.
I’d be right up for that Mr Tash….but no doubt we’d get points docked or summert for not playing our strongest team.
Only the top 4 are barley from that rule I believe. :roll:
I’d start with the next game V Chelsea. Pretty much a non event for us.
We could rest up the players for The Hull game which is more important.Thing is, will we definitely beat those teams? (Burnley, Hull, etc) Even with our strongest team? I’m not so sure. I doubt it.
And is the odd 3 points every 5 or 6 games going to save us? No. You need an average over the season of just over a point a game, or 1.2 points a game, or something like that, to reach the 40+ mark.
The odd win and point here and there will not suffice.
