When I filtered through the 27 .. yes twenty seven fans’ gallery pictures from the Shrewsbury game , I noticed how many young lads and girls there were . The future ‘lifeblood’ of our Club . Lots of them too on matchdays [ East Stand ] . I do worry about the way football is going , sometimes , ‘ everything ‘ for the top Clubs and to hell to the rest . It was , for me , a reassuring sight , looking forward to the years to come, for them . Attachment to WAFC in their youth . In time , of course, they’ll parents themselves .. keeping ‘ the faith ‘ and hope/aspiration for the future . A sense of pride, personally , and for others too , who have encouraged their offspring/relatives to follow us . I felt that their faces somehow reflected a brighter future to come , for the Club, and especially for them … dreams, anticipation, achievement , aspiration .I love this Club , especially after surviving two potential catastrophies !
