It was originally reported in the WEP that the guy that owned the Golf Club closed it as he was not prepared to pay for the replacement of the machinery etc.
Dave had given them at least 12-18 months, or until Planning Permission was granted.
I can think of a lot more unpopular people that Dave in the town of Wigan. As Griff said it is just jealousy against Dave.

I’m no fan of DW I don’t know the bloke(even though I should the amount of times he’s been on sky sports) but how would we be without him , I suppose we could be in the champions league NOT more than likely bust or div 2. So hats off to him however with that big money deal this season in the prem he should have bust the bank to keep us up not on a budjet he’ll learn from his mistake NOT !!!
