      One of my best mates is Turkish and he’s been watching Wigan a few times with me. Even though he’s enjoyed the match (he likes the way Wigan ‘try’ to play), he thinks the atmosphere at Wigan is poor.

      He’s offered to take me to the Istanbul derby, but I’m not sure. I sit in the West Stand, and don’t know how it would compare.

      Please could you advise if this is similar to what you experience in the East or South stands?
