Solid performance and much needed 3 pts. Still looking like league 1 but I think Maloney is the right man. He certainly has a busy summer ahead.I just hope our useless owners 3 point deduction doesn’t condemn us !!!On yesterday’s game I thought Millwall were bang average confirming my view that this year’s championship was a poor standard . Still 2 more big games and then we can start the rebuild.
Playing for pride now at least we aren’t going down with a whimper.
Looking at the bottom 3-4 of the league and thinking that without the 3 points deduction we would have a great chance to stay up, that said what is the bloody point of staying up? The owners have made it clear that they can’t afford to be in the championship.

A solid workmanlike performance by all. We weathered the pressure well just after half time and a M.O.T.M performance by a Lang who ran himself into the ground.
My question is, why now ? why start playing like this in the final few games ?. I have to agree, our owners not paying that 1 months wages on time could possibly end up been the sole reason why we go down.
Like they said they knew the money was coming so why didn’t they get a simple bridging loan and pay it or is this what they really wanted ?.
The final missed payment and penalty was due to the 1st 3 wages bolloxed….if its the 3 points that do us then they’ve f###### us over with simple incompetence!!!!……second owners to do it!!!

From what I’m hearing elsewhere, the blame seems to be falling at the feet of Brannigan.
Brannigan is an habitual spender, were not the first he’s pulled the money plug out of and we won’t be the last. He massively overspent to get out L1 thinking we won’t need to spend much in the Championship as we’ve already got the player.
As we all know, (well everyone bar Brannigan) that is never the case you have to invest in better quality players whenever you step up a League.
Richardson soon found out the money had all gone the year before and from then on we slowly fell to pieces.
A spirited little fight far too late in the season. The same fight at Blackpool and at home to Brum may have got us over the line. Shame that our top scorer was dropped recently and Fletcher favoured to lead the attack. A travesty too playing McClean and Darickwa as so called wing backs. These are the on pitch cock ups made by Shaun Maloney who has not raised the club any league positions during his tenure.
What happened before him with Toure is just unexplainable but nothing like as unexplainable as the mismanaged mess the owners have made for almost a year now.
Not heard a peep yesterday or today from The owner, Talal or the stand in Chief executive.
