The are vast differences between what we did and ************* achieved.
United had won the title by a country mile by the time of their game so were already on the beach.
Arsenal could not be caught by third place Liverpool and had played the FA cup final the week before and a midweek game away at newcastle midweek, so must have been in no mood for their game either, plus both games were at home, not home and away like ours against teams with lots still to play for.
It’s that team we might FINALLY get to play next season! I’m sure this stat was mentioned on the BBC website yesterday.
We have played them – I was on the special train when we went there(well not exactly there-there) we battered them and only an inspired performance by the England goal keeper stopped us getting a result.
It’s so nice to come on here and feel so young. I shall rephrase. It’s that team we might FINALLY get to play next season, HAVING NEVER PLAYED THEM IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE. I stand corrected :P
