Rob Earnshaw…..currently playing in Tel Aviv, Israel, on loan from Cardiff City.

Was a decent striker at Championship Level, but not good enough for the Premiership.

Best striker we’ve had at this level? Jason Roberts by a country mile. Still grates me that we lost him through being tight-wad’s over his wages. He’s earned a pay-rise with his performances in that first season.

Best centre forward ?? Well Henri Camera was top scorer in that first season not Jason Roberts.I did prefer Roberts as a player though.

Can’t fault JR for effort but he’s never been prolific in the Premier League. He and Ellington scored for fun in the Promotion Season but his only 2 performances that mirrored those performances were against Man City in the 4-3 Boxing Day classic, the FA cup replay at Leeds and obviously the semi final at Highbury.

Kone – well on close scutiny his first touch is awful.Looks like he’d have trouble trapping a bag of cement.

I know I am. Everyone is entitled to an opinion just as everyone is entitled disagree with it. The problem with this forum is that poster A confuses poster B disagreeing with him with poster B thinking that poster A ins’t allowed an opinion.

It is usually because poster A is thick.
