Gohouri should never have played again after the Bolton game.
Just for future reference, so as not to further reinforce my opinion that you are a complete knob, please tell me that you don’t really believe this statement.
Sammy your another complete tool who thinks it’s ok to abuse people from the comfort of your arm chair, grow up FFS.
No I am not saying that. Nor am I saying the team are playing fantastically well.
Are you saying the departure of these two players has made Gomez look better than he was last season?
Do you not think it is the opposition that make a player look good or bad?
Do you not think that if a team are playing poorly, then all the players look bad, or on the rare occasion that a player stands out in a poor team (like Parker at West Ham and Gerrard at Liverpool a few years ago) it’s because they are an exception player?

Standish he is a poor player at this level and I have seen him for two and a half seasons and he has never done enough to convince me other wise.

This is a public forum where your personal views can be expressed in whatever manner you care to voice them and in return you should expect your opinions to be challenged in the same manner. You are very outspoken and at times abusive – however you care to define that – about what you perceive to be the failings of the team and in particular the inadequacies of the manager.
To single out Gohouri when, as moggy rightly pointed out, other players have been equally at fault, is in my opinion abusive to the player himself and why I asked you to confirm if you really believe he should never play for the team again.
If you can’t take it then don’t give it.
can’t agree with that, this lad can play football and for me seems to be getting better, i’d just like him to demand the ball a little more and get a but more involved
but it seems that most of you need somebody to hate
TBH I like Gomez, I think he adds a bit of quality and guile to our midfield. However, in the last two games he has clearly shown his main weakness and that is no willingness, urge whatever you want to call it to get stuck in and put a foot in when its needed. In my opinion he’s a slightly better version of Jason Koumas.
I reckon with a hard working midfielder in that team yesterday, say of the likes of James McCarthur , we would have won the game far easier than we did.
In the Prem league these days there are very few “luxury” type players in any teams, even someone like Berbatov tracks back and closes people down.
Unless we ever get to a level whereby we can afford a luxury player in our team, I would keep JG on the bench for the time being.
I agree with the majority of this tbh. His laziness in defence is his main weakness. He’d probably fit in better playing behind the front man and infront of McArthur, McCarthy and Jones (who incidentally is lost on the left).

Give Gomez a break, the lad obviously can hit a shot and has some skill, cant defend for peanuts. But scoring 3 in 4 is not bad for any player. Now the rest need to stand up and be counted. Gomez has never criticised the club or fans for the abuse he gets. Well done Jordi :)
Gohouri has never had real run in the team and hes played all across the back four and hes the first to get the chop everytime.
As regards name calling and insults on here i can only agree with Hindley Blue (unless they are rugby fans obviously), its a message board thats full of opinions and you should treat them as just that. I stopped coming on here a few times because of this.
Back on topic. I too am not a Gomez fan. The team in general have been awful but im afraid that Gomez has been the game winner for us in the last 6 points. Love him or loathe him, He is not playing superbly but he is doing considerably better than most. He needs to stay in the team.

Name calling and insults? Seems to me you are the sensitive type.
If Hindley Blue, who is not adverse to dishing out the insults himself and posting bad language on here, can’t take it then he shouldn’t give it. I could have called him something a lot worse; a prick perhaps?
As idiotic statements go, “Gohouri should never have played again after the Bolton game”, is up there with the worst and was deserving of the response it got.
