As for this poll, you seem to belittling the posters who think he was a judas. The fact is that “at the moment” the majority of posters seem to have the view that he jumped ship when Wigan Athletic finally became a poisoned chalice and would no longer be an asset to his CV.I really wouldn’t take the ‘majority’ view of people on this forum as a sensible yardstick for anything, to be honest.

And I also notice that a substantial number of other posters I know, and whose opinion I respect, have not voted either. I think, like me, they can’t stop shaking their heads at the absurdity of it all long enough to be arsed.

To coin a phrase, history will show bob as a legend! He will be the only wigan manager to win the fa cup (in my time anyway).
I was not a lover of his footy as for the majority, it was boring. But I will always smile when his name gets mentioned…It has been great this year to shut up all the plastic mancs and liverpool fans in our office pointing out who won the fa cup this year :)
