I would like to see homegrown talent come through into our first team but to be fair, I don’t care really.
would like to see it but dont care ?
There are not many people that care about rugby etc and not many people that want it as a career. The chances of a Wigan rugby player playing for Warriors is much higher than a Wigan footbaler getting a contract at latics.
its a very tired put down that now
Your lot don’t need to do much to get contracts there, I play poker with a few of the lads that play for Warriors and speak to them and it is hardly like they are training every day to be fit etc.
what !!!??
does your carer know you are on the computer ??

Yes, I would like to see it, but I don’t really give a flying F88K where our players are from.
May be a tired put down but it is true!
Yes my ‘Carer’ knows im on my laptop. Point is Rugby players are very normal average lads, went college with a couple of the 1st team of warriors and play poker with them. I don’t even know of a Wigan Athletic player properly because it is a harder sport to get into.

what has not been explained is the complete lack of home grown talent or the reasons for it :roll:It has, but let’s try it another way.
A player doesn’t suddenly become talented when they spend a few weeks in the Youth system of a professional sporting club. They have to have a fair bit of potential beforehand. Therefore, it should follow that, if the potential talent isn’t entering the clubs’ youth system, then it won’t come out the other side.
The question that really needs to be answered is, “Why is the potential talented Wigan born footballer not being produced or spotted within the schoolboy system?”
To which you could add of course… “in the way the potential talented Wigan born rugby player is”.
Not even smiling!!

16 October 2010 at 11:15 am #48796Jewel, pointless trying to drum any sense into you about original subject because you clearly don’t have the mental capacity to get it.
Let’s try a bit of smiley-ology instead. Well done on working out the confused smiley. Now, I don’t have qualifications in smiley-ology but I would think the one with rolling eyes is designed to portray rolling eyes, not shrugging shoulders.
Keep plugging away, I’m sure you’ll get there eventually
