How did we win the FA Cup, because according to our beloved Roberto he could not adapt his football philosophy & style to win games outside of the Premier League ( his words, not mine ). That is one of the major reasons he decided to leave us.
Auto-Que, RM Groupies !

Roberto who? Most of us on this forum have moved on. You seem pretty well obsessed with him though, as far as I can tell.
And if you STILL haven’t learned to take with a pinch of salt anything that he said in public, then you must be a pretty slow learner.
30 July 2013 at 12:10 am #118459Chuffed with Coyle up to now.
Seems to me he recognises we have players who can move the ball around and wants to use that but at the same time wants to be more direct in terms of wingers and big forwards.
If things carry on as they are I can forgive his full kit tactics.
If Rogne stays fit and Perch keeps it up Ramis and Caldwell will have their work cut out to get back in the team.

There was a rumour that some folk were so obsessed they had a picture of them with RM as their signature to show they were his mate, and still have it to this day. Can think who would do this.

The picture is there purely to promote my book. When it’s served its purpose, and when I feel like it, it will be removed.
Who helps you sell your writing? Oh yes, that’s right, you prefer the more direct marketing approach. You print off copies of the bits you’re really proud of and give them to people, don’t you? Notably your boss, if I recall correctly.
Sad man.
30 July 2013 at 12:27 am #118463I’m not expecting the highs or lows that we experienced last season.
I hope that we will be a steady, top-half-of-the-table team who finish strongly, hopefully ending up in the top six.
I don’t want the Europa League to be a drain or a distraction.
I’ve got a taste for Wembley now, so another trip at the end of the season would be very welcome.

Don’t go back-tracking just because someone disagrees with you. You spend too much time with that sneering, no-nowt Moss fella, that’s probably your problem.

30 July 2013 at 9:17 pm #118505[To be fair it would have been a reasonable question, no need for the last line.To be fair, Lostock would have to tell us where and when Martinez said it. It would be a very strange thing for Martinez to say because he has already demonstrated that his style and philosophy do work in League One and the Championship.
After the defeat at Arsenal, he told Sky Sports, “The club is on a fantastic financial footing, we are stronger than ever in that respect, our football style and philosophy is something for the long term.”
But I haven’t time for any more looking back. I’m looking forward to Saturday.
I’m worried about Holt’s style and philosophy and whether he can last 90 minutes.30 July 2013 at 9:24 pm #118506I’m waiting for the first Coyle out messages on this board after a couple of defeats by the usual suspects who have been harping on about Bobby since he left
FA CUP WINNERS 2013 :P
