He leaves Moses and Diame on the bench. Two of our best players in the last month. Clever idea Martinez 1-4. Yeah good one. Still clueless then.

it looks like he is :( ( the dick) :(
4 January 2012 at 2:01 am #76789everytime gourohi plays the defence is all over the place, your choice manager to play him,a very winable game and weve got hammered, against a makeshift sunderland side who just wanted it more.one win at home all season thats why were going down
4 January 2012 at 2:18 am #76793What bug’s me though is that there was no need to get hammered at home to Sunderland 1-4 at all. It was a dismal display after we had hit the post. Why does no other team in the country capitulate like we do after conceding a goal. Not to mention giving them 3 goals for nothing. Defence needs addressing or we are down. So bloody frustrating. Connor Sammon offers nothing, Gohouri, Figeuroa, McCarthy, Rodallega (although ok tonight)Caldwell, Di Santo, Thomas, Piscu and Alcaraz just are not first team players. Jones, Watson, McCarthur, Gomez Are too average so that leaves Moses, Diame, Al-Habsi, Stam and Crusat who have anything. Two of those players were on the bench and one got taken off after causing countless problems for the opposition.
If we go down after 3 seasons of scrapping for safety and hearing the same old stuff then it is nobody’s fault but Roberto’s and it proves he is not a good manager no matter how much Dave Whelan says he is. I wonder if a couple of results at the end of the season see us stay up again. Supporting this club is becoming repetitively boring.

we are reluctant to cross the ball early, so theres no point playing sammon, the fact we seem to collapse as been worrying me all season, we manage to pull a goal back, then gift them a goal as per usual

4 January 2012 at 2:35 am #76803Whatever you say about tonight for 45+1 minute we were all over them and the game completely changed on the stupid decision by Dean to award that free kick. Just our luck that it then flies int the top bag and changes the half-time team talk. The capitulation that a Martinez side is capable of sadly reared its ugly head again.
There were too many decisions today that need someone to be accountable for. Diame and Moses on the bench, why? Play them and then give them the Swindon game off. Also Moses is not and will never be a right winger so why was he wasted there in the second half? Diame for 4 minutes, again, why? Thought we played some good stuff first half but if we don’t score we always seem to have a blunder in us, giving us no cushion at all.
Gomez, McCarthy, Watson, Jones all play the same one-paced style that stops any form of quick and attacking football. Jones gets the ball wide, stops it, drags it back, turns again, drags it back and passes it inside when all what was needed was to open his body and whip one in.
Gohouri stays on the pitch to be an over-lapping right back and Stam is taken off. Again why? Get Jones off, Stam to RB, flat back 4 and we are changing with minimal fuss.
Alcaraz, garbage. Utter, utter garbage and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise. We missed Caldwell tonight, at least he boots it long and doesn’t think he’s some kind of Messi clone.
Really gutted after that result tonight. We had a major chance to kickstart this season but have thrown it away. The home form is massively concerning now, we can’t buy a win against anyone and will in my opinion see us go down. Can only hope Martinez learns something tonight, anything and hope he goes out and gets the necessary reinforcements to come into the team. At the moment out starting 11 can make a fist of things but replacements like Gohouri, Maloney, Lopez et all just don’t cut the mustard.

Or they’re both being courted by other clubs…

Victor came on in the first half, if he wasn’t fit I’m sure Bob would have brought someone else on so early. And bringing MoMo on with 4 minutes plus stoppage time while loosing 4-1??? I suggest they were both fit and Bob dropped a bollock.

Don’t be ridiculous! No matter how thick you think Bob is he would have not have left them out for no good reason. Having slight knocks or about to be sold are perfectly plausible reasons for them not starting. Had Crusat not had to go off, I’m sure Moses would have stayed on the bench.

If there about to be sold God help us, but if they are to be sold would it not have been a good time to bring there replacement in to the first team squad????
