Forgive me, but if you care to look at the first reply to this thread, which just happens to be yours, thats exactly what you HAVE done, you seem to the first person to bring martinez’s name into the debate ????
Hardly bringing him into the debate.
A mere mention of his name because the original post was just asking for someone to pop up and ‘it’s all Martinez’s fault’ and turn it into a anti v pro thread again.
And that’s exactly what it’s become.
Any forward signed in the window whether permanent or loan will be the difference between staying or dropping.The present group have had enough time to prove themselves and yes i know we have been defensively poor, but you defend from the front and even Piquet/Puyol would have cracked behind that lot.I still firmly believe we can survive but we have to get someone to steal us a goal .Fletcher,Yak,Graham,Morrison,our relegation rivals all have one and none of those broke the bank !Strip our stats down to its basic form and its simple ,turn our impressive possession into a goal .So for me anyone fresh will enthuse me whether foreign,championship,non league ,they cant do any worse .
is this the lad from Noblot? if so i remember Jewell trying to sign him a few years ago and he did’nt come and signed for a french club.
sure he had bad kidneys or sumut serious wrong with him
