No contest. my mate Steve Goulding. Never missed a competitive game, home or away in the first 7? years of Latics in the football league. Then he had a bad car accident which put him in hospital and he couldn’t go for about two years. He has only missed a couple of games since. Only one in the last 16 years.
Im the one with the tache and curly hair and my wife is still blonde .we still live in hindley and are still season ticket holders.started watching the latics in the 67/68 season first match chester city reserves won 7-0 was hooked been going ever since just left the dead zone [west stand] this season for east stand should have moved long ago.ps the curly hair was never permed and is still curly to this day.my wifes blonde hair got me in big trouble in 82/83 at bramhall lane as at the end of the game a yorkshire barsteward said the one with the blonde is a wigganer and i got a good kicking great days

I remember you,you and yer missus used to stand outside the `exec box` to the side of the stand,i remember you bringing a young un with you as well.
Proper fan you mate.
Anyone see that Ken Barlow fella who wrote that book about his Latics diary at t`DW?
that young un is now 39 and lives in scotland and before she was 5 years old had been on every northern premier league ground in the country thanks for remembering
in my time watching the latics , over 40 years now think one of the most loyal fans is big Alan im sure most latics fans will know who im on about used to jump up and down on the terraces at spring field ,,, and coming of after the QPR game saw him walking up springfield road ///// i know he used to go to every game home and away in the none leauge days so this bloke must be one of the best fans the latics have ever had would e nice if he would get a write up in your cockney latic mag
Alan and the lad sit behind me in the west stand, without fail within 10 minutes of the kick off a steward has to `ave a word` with the lad for his industrious language!
I would agree with the bronx bomber ste goulding who as hardly ever missed a game as long as i have known him must be one of our most loyal supporters just wish the club would take note how many games this mon as attended and the other people who go week in week out in all weather.
