26 January 2014 at 2:21 am #126362Espinoza MOTM for me too.
Al Habsi made some good saves and I thought Boyce had a cracker at CB.
Wigan to go on another cup run? I can see us drawing City tomorrow but if we do I think they will be far too much for is in their current form.
26 January 2014 at 3:11 am #126364Thought watson had a decent game today as well IMO.
26 January 2014 at 3:12 am #126365I also liked boyce at CB & perch at RB.

I’m getting on a bit !! B)
26 January 2014 at 1:01 pm #126375Great cup tie and some fantastic individual performances notably Ali and McLean who worked his but off down the left in probably his best performance since he came here.
Home draw please but no City,Arsenal or Liverpool !And he’s still shit!! ;) He’s got to do a lot more yet to win me over. Not the worst I’ve ever seen, but for all the possession/chances he has, he has to deliver more often and better, in my opinion. He did do OK today though, I’ll give you that.
He did ok – a very poor mans Valencia :)
26 January 2014 at 1:03 pm #126376I’ll let you into a little secret Argus, the DW has a roof on to keep you nice and dry.
It’s the 15 walk from Albert Street that put me off JR. We would have been soaked by the time we got to the Ground.
My Mrs has been working this week so couldn’t get down for tickets. If we’d had tickets we would have made the effort.
Fingers crossed for another home draw !!
Poor excuses.
You could pay on the day.
Raining? Good job my Grandad didn’t mind a bit of rain when he was fighting in the trenches or Uwe’s press conferences would be much easier for him these days as he could do them in German.

i agree with u griff on this one. I left runcorn a little after 1pm after my son had finished his match. We jumped into the car still in our mud soaked kits. A panic came over me around 1.15 when on the M6 that halestone & torrential rain began & both my son & i had the fear it would be called off. Luckilly it stopped & we got to me mams house to get changed. Now argus if i can brave the elements…..
26 January 2014 at 1:48 pm #126379Mclean would be great if he would lift his head upCouldn’t agree more, can go past a man then knock a ball into empty space and yesterday one on one with the keeper all he had to do was a side pass and Powell knocks the ball into an empty net. But saying that he had a good game yesterday and he will always give you 100%, onwards and upwards.
What’s the betting we’ll get City or Everton next round.

He did have a good game yesterday but as you said he should of laid it to Powell for an easy goal.
Rosler wasn’t happy judging by the way he toe pecked a water bottle down the touch line and I don’t blame him.
Easily could of cost us the win through his greed.
