I had a pair of lunes that were light blue at the top and purple at the bottom worn with 10 inch platform shoes.
The colours changed in a v shape at the knee.Gold top milk bottles

The belts you talk of were called ” Snake belts ”
They still have gold top milk
That pop was called Corona and it was sold door to door
Its Home Brew not Home Made !!

Griff, did you also have the proper school uniform? Barrathea,black parallels royals. If you wore straight leg pants you was a prize pranny when i was at school.

Also i had a pair of bottle green cords with 40ins bottoms jacket to match with the required Smiley patches.

Would be considered a Health and safety nightmare now though.I once nearly bluffed my way into a job at our local hospital in the radiography department but at the final interview they saw right through me !! :silly:
