Being 26, Rockport was the roll call in my teenage years, But my dad claims that Doc Martens 70 odd lacers were the sh*t and he had a pair to show off to the girls on his suped up FS1E (fizzy)

I remember shops having X-ray machines that you could look down and see how well your feet fitted in the shoes. Would be considered a Health and safety nightmare now though.

Course we didn’t have shoes in them days – just newspaper wrapped round our feet (cue “newspaper – that were a luxury….”)

Which reminds me, you don’t get chips in newspaper now, do you?

Fizzy’s were for girls……..blown away by my mates on their Honda CD50’s (Yamaha should have concentrated on musical instruments – and what was with that goppin’ purple colour they all seemed to come in) oh! and they couldn’t off-road like my Garelli Tiger Cross.

            Doc Martens?……dear oh dear. :(

I had a pair of monkey boots, who remembers them ?

              #74180

Oh yeah he has to be better than me no matter what i have done. He is one of them, If i have had a shite he has had a bigger one. But when i had my motorbike i didn’t fall off it and break my leg showing off like he did. B) B) B) If i was an 80’s teenager i don’t think i would have gone for the doc martens. I reckon i would have been a headbanger. Think that’s the equivellant to the rock music i like nowadays.

              Not seen a Rubik’s Cube for a while. Or a Mr.Men book.

I have some stashed away in my granddads loft somewhere. All the Mr. Men books and a rubiks cube that i never actually managed to complete. It looks complete but if i remember rightly i just peeled the stickers off and stuck them back on the correct way. ;) ;) :P

Those stretchy elastic belts with metal S shaped ends that you linked together.

                Lunes

I had a pair of lunes that were light blue at the top and purple at the bottom worn with 10 inch platform shoes.
The colours changed in a v shape at the knee.

If your talking about those shoes with animal footprints on the sole and a compass inside the shoe eel, they were called wayfinders not pathfinders.
